What Slim is
Slim is an AI-powered business operations agent. It handles customer communication, review responses, appointment follow-ups, and outreach — all on behalf of the business owner. Slim acts as your representative. When Slim sends a message or posts a review response, it's doing so because you approved it, either individually or as part of a recurring task you set up.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information you give Slim. You're responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to contact the customers in any list you provide or connect. You must not use Slim to send spam, harass customers, impersonate other businesses, or violate any applicable law — including CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, or any state-level consumer protection rules. Misuse will result in account termination.
How approval works
Slim does not take significant actions without your approval. For one-time tasks, you approve before anything happens. For recurring tasks, you authorise the schedule once — Slim then runs on that schedule until you turn it off. You can pause or cancel any recurring task at any time, immediately, from within the platform.
Subscription and cancellation
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time — no cancellation fees, no penalty, no questions asked. After cancellation, your account stays active until the end of the current billing period. Your data is available for export for 30 days after your account closes, then permanently deleted.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Slim available and reliable. That said, we can't guarantee 100% uptime — third-party services like Twilio, Google, and SendGrid can have outages that affect what Slim can do. When something is down, Slim will tell you plainly and hold any pending actions until it can proceed.
Limitation of liability
We can't guarantee specific business outcomes. Revenue results depend on your business, your market, and your customers — not on Slim alone. Pax & Dad Ventures, LLC is not liable for lost revenue, missed opportunities, or customer disputes that arise from actions Slim took on your behalf. Slim is a tool. You authorised its actions. You remain the business owner. Our total liability to you in any circumstance is capped at the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Termination for misuse
We can suspend or terminate your account if you use Slim to send spam, harass customers, violate applicable law, or otherwise abuse the platform. If we terminate for cause, no refund is issued for the current billing period. If we terminate for any other reason, you'll receive a prorated refund.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the courts of Williamson County, Tennessee.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll notify you within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Slim after that means you agree to the updated terms. Minor changes — clarifications, typos, formatting — may be made without notice.
